I.P.A.’s shutter curtain includes:

• Slats

• Top slat with security spring

• Bottom slat with security stop

Metallic reinforcements are inserted in the slat profiles and on the bottom slat, according to company specifications, depending on curtain colour and dimensions.

The shutter curtains are formed of a multitude of interlocking horizontally extending slats which have limited pivotal motion; slats are made of extruded rigid PVC plastic material combined with UV and heat stabilizers, which provide long term heat stability.

The links are mobile between the slats to allow relative movement and punctured to allow light passage.

The slats are created by PVC extrusion and processed with solar radiation and heat protectors.

On one end the slats are provided with a notch that prevents sliding movement, the bottom slat is strengthened with galvanized steel, to prevent deformation, and the top edge of the curtain is attached with springs. The shutter is completed with security stops. The product belongs to a flame retardant class denominated "M1", which means it does not participate in the combustion.

The compound does not contain Cadmium derived or D.O.P. type plastic; it is produced according to “REACH” European Community Regulations. Following ISO 14000 Certification and Communitarian Directives, I.P.A. products are completely Lead, Barium and Cadmium-Free and contain no Toxic Heavy Metals; only light metal compound stabilizers, Calcium-Zinc mixtures, are employed, as required by new European Regulations.

All profiles are produced by extrusion of materials that are free of Lead, Barium and Cadmium and without toxic heavy metals, for a better environment and the creation of healthy living spaces.
